Faith Based Organizing
Faithful Voter is a three-pronged Get Out the Vote and Integrated Voter Engagement program with a goal of turning out new or sporadic African American faith voters. The field and relationship-intensive program includes 1) recruitment and training of pastors, church staff and lay leaders, 2) faith-based “I pledge to vote” postcards, and 3) African American radio Public Service Announcements from prominent clergy. Have rapid response systems in place with coalition partners on emerging topics
This program will work in cities to turn out the voters in Statewide races.
Increase turnout among African-American voters in targeted cities using Faith in Public Life’s highly successful Faithful Voter turnout program.
