Mobilize Latino Voters
CASA in Action will carry out a data-driven multi-pass and multi-candidate program focusing on federal, statewide, and state races. In targeting decisions, the organization takes into consideration recent polling, redistricting, demographic changes, turf density, on-the-ground experience and knowledge of the area, and electoral history and issues. CASA in action will deliver a mutli-layer program to turn out Latino voters in Lancaster, York, Dauphin, Chester, and Lebanon Counties that focuses on 80,000 households.
The program supports key US House pickup in PA-6, PA-10 and PA-11 and Tom Wolf for Governor. In addition, the progam focuses on State Senate District 28 and State House Districts 156 and 160.
Program Goals - 80,000 Households
The program focuses on immigrant communities within CASA in Action's organizational footprint in South Central PA, an area with more than 80,000 Latino canvassable doors.
The program budget is $688,000 for 2-3 passes at each household with several modes of communication (door knocks, phone calls, textings, etc). This is a cost of $8.60 per household. With Trump winning Pennsylvania by 44,000 votes, this program's 80,000 targets could make a large impact in a purple state.
CASA in Action - Since 2010
Since 2010, CASA in Action has enacted organizing multiple campaigns and actions for immigration reform, family reunification, and economic justice at the state, local, and federal level. In 2017 the organization set up 3 offices to cover program counties.
